VIG Re - Job detail

Responsible and accountable for business origination and account management of assumed Non-Life facultative property reinsurance business in respect of assigned clients, mainly in Central & Eastern Europe

Your Tasks

Underwrites VIG Re’s facultative Property reinsurance business in compliance with VIG Re guidelines and within his/her assigned authorities
Understands client’s needs, evaluates options for action, develops business opportunities and coordinates client interaction at all levels
Negotiates and concludes facultive contracts within his/her assigned authorities, is accountable for the performance of assigned markets.

Our Expectations

Professional experience in property single risk underwriting (minimum 3 years)
University degree in Economics, Mathematics, Legal Sciences or Technical Degree
Fluent in English, knowledge of another European language is an advantage
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong analytical skills, pragmatic and solution oriented
Ability to originate new business
Profound technical knowledge
Collaboration and networking, i.e. works to build partnerships
