Life Actuary

Your Tasks

  • Development of cash-flow models and tools used in reserving and underwriting areas
  • Calculation of life statutory and Solvency II Technical Provisions
  • Portfolio analyses and support of the actuarial function in life
  • Valuation of assumed reinsurance contracts
  • Cooperation with other departments, VIG Holding and external consultants
  • Presenting results to senior management

We Expect

  • Ideally 5+ years’ experience in life (re)insurance actuarial position
  • A university degree in financial mathematics, statistics or similar
  • Solvency II and IFRS 17 knowledge an advantage
  • Knowledge of Prophet and VBA is an advantage
  • Proactive and creative approach, prepared for self-studying
  • Responsibility and reliability
  • Fluent English
